Overview

First we stop to admire the views over the Forth Bridges from South Queensferry before continuing to Linlithgow Palace with its rich and varied history.

Then we take the 'Royal Route' to Stirling Castle and explore the ancient royal seat of Scotland. Learn the varied history of the Stuart Royals and the great battles of the middle-ages that were fought nearby.

Travel on to the National Park and explore the idyllic Loch Lomond with its calm waters that make way to dramatic highland scenery. Visit the conservation village of Luss and hear the local stories from hundreds of years of tradition.

We stop here to take in the view of 'The Three Bridges', a stunning collection of road and railway bridges with a long and interesting history.

We visit this interesting ruined Palace and view it from the exterior. Linlithgow is the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots and has a long and complex history that you will hear about from the historic peel.

We will drive past the impressive Kelpies public art installation as we travel to and from Stirling. These impressive statues of Clydesdale horse heads tower 30 meters above the Canal basin as we drive along the Royal Route.

We visit Stirling Castle at the top of Castle Hill. With breathtaking views across the carse of Stirling and a rich history. We will explore the entire castle including Great Hall and Royal Apartments on a walking tour of the castle with your guide.

Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park
We will drive through the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park which has beautiful scenery. This is a remove area of Scotland and often referred to as 'The Highlands in Miniature'. There are many photo opportunities along this route.
