Melrose
This town houses the largest and most famous abbey in the Lowlands. Built from the 12th century onwards and due to its location close to the English border, this abbey played a very important role in history, resisting numerous attacks over the centuries. After a long background history, the heart of Scottish King Robert The Bruce, the true brave heart, was buried here.

It was he who continued the legacy of William Wallace and continued to fight for Scottish independence. We tell you everything!
