Cannongate Tolbooth
As we walk up the Royal Mile, your guide will lead you in and out of closes and alleys, introducing you to parts of Edinburgh that don't feature in your guidebook. You'll learn the fascinating history of buildings you wouldn't have otherwise noticed and hear about the characters that lived and worked in them and made them memorable!

Further up the Royal Mile, you'll learn about the rich culture of storytelling in Scotland and hear about how our stories are a vitally important part of our life and our culture here in Scotland.

John Knox House Museum
As we wander up the Royal Mile, stopping to her about those that have come before and made their mark, you'll learn about religious reform and rebellion here in Scotland. One of the men who was instrumental to Scotland's religious reformations was John Knox and this is where you'll really get a feel for how he lived his life.

St Giles' Cathedral
Continuing our journey up the Royal Mile, we'll find ourselves facing the imposing structure of St Giles. This has been the hotbed of religious power in Scotland for hundreds of years and is abound with tales. Our guides will take you into the Cathedral and show you around as part of your Royal Mile tour.

After St Giles, we'll carry on up this ancient hill and hear more about what life would have been like in days gone by and what it is like living and working here now.
