You have received a letter from Arthur Conan Doyle himself. He asks you to gather information to help him to write his next – and last – Sherlock Holmes novel. For this, he has sent you to meet his former professor from Edinburgh Medical School, who will be able to help you.
You will start your day by retracing the steps of Arthur Conan Doyle with our tour guide and discovering the places which inspired the author when he created his famous Sherlock Holmes stories. After the private tour, warm yourself in a pub in the city centre and enjoy a delicious Scottish meal. Participate in a themed escape game, before heading for a self-guided tour of Surgeons' Hall, the medical museum. In Surgeons' Hall, don't miss the Sherlock Holmes exhibit where you will learn how the medical innovations of the 19th century influenced Sherlock's deductive process! Then finish your day in the underbelly of Edinburgh, the historic vaults of the city, to learn more about the crimes which shook the city.
